Wheeler takes the Lead

Wheeler inducted into RCRCC Class of 2008

August 24, 2007 — Smith & Jones’ Co-Operative, Amanda Wheeler, was accepted into the Leadership Institute’s Class of 2008, sponsored by Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce (RCRCC). The RCRCC Executive Board selected the class from those applicants believed to represent the area’s most outstanding young executives.

The class of 24 will be exposed to leadership styles and insights from the region’s most esteemed professionals. Leadership sessions are conducted monthly, beginning with an overnight retreat in September. The first session begins in October with Leadership & Strategic Thinking, followed by Communication, Balancing the Professional Career & Personal Life, Financial Management, Human Resources & Organizational Development and Board Development & Service. All sessions feature high caliber professionals as lead presenters and guest panelists and are held at host venues throughout the Tech Valley region.
