Patrick Reilly, IlluminatorOver Patrick’s long career as an account planner, he has led numerous companies in the quest to better understand their customers, and discover what is differentiating, relevant, ownable, believable and deliverable in the marketplace. He has done everything from designing and implementing qualitative and quantitative research studies through authoring strategic brands plans for Heineken, Smirnoff, Kraft General Foods, Sugarbush Resort, deBeer Lacrosse, Provident Bank and many others. Management team member and Director of Account Planning & Research at Smith & Jones, Patrick illuminates us all with laser precision: translating our clients’ business goals into marketing goals; designing innovative methodologies for gathering the data; scouring reports, tables, charts, graphs, and cross-tabs in search of patterns; digging, questioning and interviewing in search of relevant insight. A graduate and active alumnus of the University of Richmond, Patrick still plays competitive lacrosse (and can still keep up with the 20 year olds), enjoys white water kayaking during spring floods and coaches his son’s youth soccer team.
