Cornerstone calls on S&J

Smith & Jones has been selected to manage public relations services for CornerStone Telephone Company. The agency will focus on helping CornerStone's expansion and acquisition of business-to-business customers through media relations and press releases.

CornerStone provides services such as local, long distance, DSL, and T1 Internet access to business-to-business and residential customers. It has over 25,000 access lines, providing services in the Capital Region, as well as across the Hudson Valley Region, and into Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

CornerStone was established in 2001 by cofounders Dan Yamin and Don Walsh. Since its inception, CornerStone has increased in size from five to 60 employees. Today CornerStone has a growing customer base of over 5,000 and is continuing to expand geographically.
